The ultimate pop-up cinema at the Queen of Hoxton, Shoreditch (July/August 2018)

Screening cult classics and new releases on the rooftop of Queen of Hoxton this Summer by Rooftop Film Club. At Queen of Hoxton they use state-of the-art wireless headphones so you can live in those memorable cinematic moments, and not get disturbed by the outside world. Comfy deckchairs, mean you can lean back and breathe in those City views under the stars.

London Design Festival– Shoreditch Design Triangle (15th - 23rd Sept)

The Shoreditch Design Triangle is a true celebration of the area, hosted by the creative companies who work there. This year, the district blended together a range of product launches, exhibitions, installations, workshops, talks and tours. Shoreditch Design Triangle is a cultural platform for the most imaginative and creative souls in London. In its tenth consecutive year, it is the largest official Design District during the Festival. The diversity and quality of events attracts a discerning and influential audience of press, designers, architects, retailers and buyers from across the globe.

Dorothea Lange: Politics of Seeing (22nd June - 2nd Sept)

Barbican Art Gallery stages the first UK survey of the American documentary photographer Dorothea Lange (1895–1965), one of the most influential photographers of the 20th century. The show features the iconic Migrant Mother as well as rarely seen photographs of the internment of Japanese-Americans during the Second World War and several post-war series documenting the changing face of the social and physical landscape of 1950s America, including a collaboration with fellow photographer Pirkle Jones.
